Description

Chatham Bars Inn is a historic, five-star oceanfront resort located in Chatham on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Originally opened in 1914 as a seaside retreat for well-heeled Boston travelers, it has evolved into one of New England’s most iconic luxury coastal destinations, set on 25 acres overlooking Pleasant Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

The property blends classic New England charm with modern resort amenities. Guests have access to a private quarter-mile beach, an oceanfront heated pool, a full-service spa, tennis courts, a fitness center, and an on-site fleet of boats for excursions, including whale watching and trips to nearby islands. The resort is also known for its farm-to-table dining program and multiple restaurants offering ocean views and locally sourced seafood.

Overall, Chatham Bars Inn is best known for its combination of seaside setting, long history, and resort-style amenities, making it a signature Cape Cod luxury escape rather than a traditional small inn.
