76 Main Ink Press Hotel is a charming property on Nantucket’s historic Main Street. Originally a Victorian mansion built in 1883, and once a sea captain’s home, the hotel has been revitalized into a 20-room boutique hotel that celebrates Nantucket's journalistic past with a media-themed aesthetic. Interiors are adorned with vintage typewriters, historic newspaper plates, press cameras, framed headlines and a unique art nod to Nantucket's celebrated press. There is also an eco-friendly twist as, reportedly, it is the only hotel on the island that runs partly on solar power. Extra touches include BYOB evening mixer, freshly baked cookies, self‑serve coffee, filtered water stations, and beach gear (chairs, towels, umbrellas).
