The winter season offers extraordinary snowshoeing and cross-country skiing opportunities in Crater Lake National Park.

 

Lonesome Duck is bordered by the Williamson River on the West and North and the Winema National Forest to the East. It is about 1h-1h15 south of Crater Lake, and 30 min north of Klamath Falls, OR.

Lonesome Duck Ranch's homes include fully equipped kitchens and come with bed and bath linens. Boats, canoes, kayaks for summer visits, and snow shoes are provided for winter adventures.

Watch the tranquil flow of Williamson River roll by from every room in this spacious 1500 sq. ft. log home. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining room, a bedroom with two twins, and a full bath. Upstairs has a king bedroom, sleeping loft with two twins, and a full bath with a walk-in shower. A large covered porch overlooks the river in the pines next to our manager’s house. The porch also has a lawn area with a hammock, picnic tables, and group barbeque. The pier provides easy access to the river.

 

Located a stone’s throw from the river, this original ranch house has been tastefully renovated. It has a massive stone fireplace featuring the ranch brand and other artifacts. This cottage has a queen bedroom, a second bedroom with two twins, and a newly remodeled bath. The dining room, living room, full kitchen, and screened porch make this cottage a guest favorite. The large riverside porch is the ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset melt into the river.
